Who we are?

Ace the DELF is a language learning website designed to help students prepare for the DELF exam. This website is for a school project and is entirely non-commercial. Our goal is to provide students with the resources they need to succeed in learning French and passing the DELF exam. We believe that everyone should be able to learn how to effectively prepare for the DELF and we strive to make our website user-friendly and easy to navigate.

At Ace the DELF, we understand that the protection of your personal information is of the utmost importance, and our privacy policy reflects this. As such, we are committed to protecting your privacy while you use our services. We do not collect any personal data from our users unless they leave a comment, and we do not share any information with third parties. Since our website is non-commercial, we do not use any information for marketing or advertising purposes.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

The media used on our website, such as images and videos, are the property of their respective owners.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. However, no data is stored if you do not leave a comment.

What rights you have over your data

If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Who we share your data with

We do not share any personal data with any third parties. Your personal information is kept confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing you with our services.
